First Hackintosh. Need help with parts compatibilities.

If you search the site for the Asus Z97 Pro AC, you'll find several reports of success. I think your biggest challenge will be that the GeForce 970 is not supported out of the box, so you'll have to work around until you can install the Nvidia Web drivers.

I have GTX 970 as well and it took me a bit of tinkering around with different Web Drivers from Nvidia to get it right. Just a tip, be sure to "Reset Disk Permissions" after you install the driver for them to fully work, also if you use any kernel flags to get your 970 to work make sure you add them into the "org.chameleon.Boot.plist" under Kernel Flags.

For CUDA install and then use the System Preferences control panel to adjust if required.

For the web drivers it depends on your Build Number.
