First Hackintosh Build + some questions

Hey, so I'm new to the hackintosh world and I was just wondering where can I find a site that shows me compatible hardware if that is possible.

Anyways, my specs (important ones):

i5 2500k
GA-Z68A-D3H-B3 Motherboard
ASUS Radeon HD 6950 1GB Direct CU II

My question with Multibeast, I have been doing research before I start installing Snow Leopard and I was wondering about the System Definitions. Is it neccessary to choose a System Definition? If possible, is there a way to see those definitions in full possible details?
