I've read for some time now, and desided to build this hack, for running Logic studio 9 only.

Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-P55A-UD4 (rev. 1.0)
CPU: Intel Core i7 860
CPU Cooler: Scythe Mugen 2 rev.B SCMG-2100
Graphics: GIGABYTE GEFORCE 9800 GT 1GB GDDR3 PCI-E VGA/DVI/HDMI SILENT
Ram: 2x OCZ 4GB DDR3 1600MHz (2x2) OCZ3G1600LV4GK
SSD System disk: OCZ Agility 2 Series SSD 120 GB 2.5", SATA-300
HDD for audio: Samsung SpinPoint F3 Desktop Class HD103SJ 1 TB
HDD for user storage: Samsung SpinPoint F3 Desktop Class HD103SJ 1 TB
DVD±RW: Sony NEC Optiarc AD-5240S-01
Case: Antec Sonata Designer 500 with 500w psu
OSX: Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard

Is there anything that won't work smooth?
can I use the ram even though it is 1,65v ? or should i buy some other, and in that case, witch?

How do i connect the three HD? The SSD in SATA2_0 and what to do with the two others and the dvd?
How do i setup the three HDD when I install it?
Is there anyting that would make some trouble with Logic pro 9, Apogee duet(firewire soundcard) or Acess virus TI Keyboard (USB2.0 synth)

Im looking forward to read your answers, and thank you for this great board!

Sorry for the bad english, I am from a non english speaking country ;)

#EDIT#
Does it work with dual monitor?

Why are you going with the Rev. 1.0 of the GA-P55A-UD4? They have the Rev. 2.0 out.

I won't go with OCZ memory since there leaving the memory market. I would go with Corsair memory. I would also go with one 4GB modual or 2 4GB moduals, that way you have the option of having 16GB of memory I would also go with an ATI 5770 GPU instead of the 9800 GT. Since it's the one that Apple uses in the Mac Pros.

I would only have one hard drive connected when your installing OS X. After you've installed then I would connect the other two. Connect the DVD drive to the SATA2_0 port (the blues), then connect the SSD to SATA_1, then connect the two drives to the remaining SATA ports.

Do you already have OS X 10.6 or do you need to buy it? I had the initial 10.6.0 retail DVD, but I kept getting kernel panics when I went to install OS X. So I bought another copy of OS X with 10.6.3 and that solved everything.

What country are you in?

Don't go with an Apple 5770. It's designed to only work with the Mac Pros. That's why you need the XFX one.

Other that your build goods great.

Does chameleon support the card or do I have to do some thing in multibeast?

and what is the difference between GIGABYTE GEFORCE 9800 GT and XFX HD5770 850M 1GB DDR5 DUAL

I wont need the graphics for anything else than just watch a movie and so on.

The reason why I recommend the 5770 is because it's the one that Apple is currently using in the Mac Pros. I also like how energy efficient and quite the 5770 is, not mention how powerful it is.

The only thing you'll have to do in MultiBeast is to install the Chameleon 2.0 RC5 - ATI Experimental.

Ok. Thank you for your patiens with my Newbie questions :)

Ill go with the 5770

Your board and GPU is close to mine, here's my MultiBeast settings:
