Good, as it should work the same in macOS. It's not as if you can use the wrong driver/kext as they are already part of macOS.

Have you opted for a new Ulansen card, or are you looking at one of the other USB cards?

Or have you given up on the idea of adding a type-c PCIe card to your setup?
