Fanless, quiet build

Hi guys,

Really wanted to do my next build with a silent hack. I would like to keep the machine in the studio and not have to run long cables to keep the box outside.

Has anyone built a silent hack for use in the control room of a recording studio or other silent applications?

Looking for case and cpu cooler recommendations that are fanless and silent

The Norfan CR95 is the best but it is large - looks pretty, though, all that shining copper, but pay careful attention: 95W max CPU is all it is rated for.

For the "case" you could use a http://www.lian-li.com/en/dt_portfolio/pc-t60/ and not have to worry about heat buildup. Make yourself a dust cover for when it is not in use.

Use a Silverstone fanless PSU and SSDs and there you have it - no moving parts at all!
