External HDD not recognized on USB 3 with El Capitan

Hello i have this strange problem: My external hd (WD Elements guid, hfs+) doesn't get recognized if i attach it to an USB3 port in El Capitan. Not even in Disk Utility.
Instead, if i plug it into a usb 2 port, it works normally.

With mavericks it worked normally.

How can i resolve this problem? i honestly don't know what to do.
I hope someone can help me understand why this is happening.




some additional information:
my system is El Capitan + Clover UEFI installed with multibeast.

I followed this guide and everything is working fine!

if someone has the same problem, please install FakePCIID.kext and FakePCIID_XHCIMux.kext from the latest distribution here
