I am trying to install Lion on my desktop. I can get the installer to boot fine with GraphicsEnabler=No to avoid issues with my video card (6950).

Bios are set with AHCI following this guide for that section: http://www.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php ... 9&p=262564

When i reboot after the install and choose to boot from the Unibeast USB stick my hard drive never shows up. When I am choosing a device to boot from it shows up there, so it appears to be detected by everything except Unibeast. I tried rboot as well and had no success with it. Would this likely be an issue with my mobo, or my hard drive, or what? It is a 500gb hard drive so it isn't the partition size.

Thanks for anyone who is willing to help out. Feel free to msg me on google chat or email me: joncalhoun[at]gmail.com

Just a quick follow up - If i change everything back to IDE for sata the hard drives show up in rboot and unibeast but when i try to boot into them i get the repeating "still waiting for root device" when trying to boot into single user mode (and errors in other modes that i have tried as well).

Would it be easier to install snow leopard, and then upgrade from there? I am considering trying iboot + leopard just to get my machine back up and running.

Decided to try to follow this guide entirely (http://www.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php ... 9&p=262564)

Same issue. Install goes fine, and then hard drive doesnt show up for rboot in AHCI mode, does in IDE. =\

If it is just a hard drive i don't mind replacing that. Or even if its only the mobo I at least know where to start. Sadly I have no idea what it is.
