525GB Crucial SSD
EVGA GTX 1050 Ti 4GB
Sierra 10.12.4

Problem: About this Mac only shows 256MB VRAM

Web drivers are enabled. Graphics are fast and smooth, videos play great, no visible issues. Should I worry about this? What can I do it fix it?

Thanks.

1)Install EmuVariableUefi-64 if necessary - This can be done a couple ways - I suggest downloading the newest clover ( https://sourceforge.net/projects/cloverefiboot/ ) and follow the install guide I have attached "Setup_UEFI"

2) Make sure Inject Nvidia = NO and NvidiaWeb = YES - See attached file "Plist-Settings"

I use Xcode to edit my plist. Another great program is PlistEdit Pro.

That worked. Thank you!

Hi,
I had the same problem than Gnome. (GTX 1060)

I follow your instructions, switching "Inject Nvido" from YES to NO

But now MacOS doesn't launch, I only have a black screen. I tried hdmi, DP and DVI :/
Is it possible to re-edit config.plist without launching OS ?

Build:
i5-4590
16gB RAM
GTX 1060 6GB
Sierra 10.12.5

The fact is I can't launch Sierra since I change config.plist (I only switched off the "inject nvidia", and the "web drivers" was on)

Ok so I made a clean reinstall.
I still have 14mo on my GTX 1060.
Here screenshots of config, plists and Nvidia panel.

Just run Multibeast and select Mac Pro 5.1, instead of iMac, and GTX passed to 256Mo… Almost.
