EVGA GT240 GDDR5 512MB not working?!?!

Everywhere I read, this card runs OOTB.

I installed it into a Dell Optiplex 755 MT and it remains at 1024x768 w/out Quartz Acceleration.

I tried using and not using GraphicsEnabler and NVEnabler with 32 and 64 bit....nothing.

I do receive kernel panics on boot though on some of those combinations (like using NV Enabler 64 w/ 32 bit).

Any ideas? Shouldn't this card work perfectly?

Mine works perfectly. I'm on 10.6.5 with no graphics kexts or editing other than running Chameleon.

It must be a motherboard problem since it is a Dell. It's also not PCIe 2.0, just PCIe.

Hmmm. Maybe I will try reinstalling. I originally installed with only Intel graphics and updated after installation.
