Ethernet Option/Network Card disappeared

I am currently running .90 Of Lnx2Mac's network driver with 10.7.2 and everything was working fine. Today I turn on my computer and the ethernet option under Network in System Preferences in gone. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling both .90 and .67 drivers by Lnx2Mac. I also noticed the lights on the back of my motherboard where the ethernet outlet is not lighting up. Could the jack itselt be toasted?

Any thoughts I would hugely appreciate it.
