Ethernet Connected, But No Internet

So, I finally got a hardline wired to my new home office. However, when I connect the ethernet cable to the Hack, it says "Ethernet Connected," but there is no internet. I brought in my wife's windows laptop and plugged it up, and sure enough, there was internet. I've tried restarting, I've tried deleting and re-adding the ethernet service, and still no internet. When I try to use DHCP, it pulls a 169. address and the "Ethernet Connected" status goes red. When I manually enter the info, "Ethernet Connected" goes green, but still no internet. Could this have anything to do with the patches I'm using to enable WiFi? I've taken screen grabs of the ethernet info from System Report. Does anyone have any ideas?

Have a read of this post see if it helps.

@Edhawk So, I've read everything, and it's a bit confusing. I've added the boot arg dk.e1000=0, and it still doesn't work. If I understand properly, as I am on Sonoma, there is no need for the kexts that have been mentioned. Am I in a position now where I need to add Device Properties? Feeling a bit frustrated. :(

Edit: I also tried plugging into a ethernet/USB adapter, and that just froze my system. Crash report, if it reveals any clues:

Try boot argument e1000=0, instead of dk.e1000=0.

The one you are using is required for older versions of macOS.

Try using the AppleIGC.kext file and adding e1000=0 to boot-args in your config.plist file. I ran into the same problem with the OCLP Patch (for Broadcom WiFi) and this was the solution.

Thanks... when I tried to add AppleIGC.kext and take a ProperTree snapshot, I got the below warning... should I be concerned about it?

No, just allow ProperTree to fix the issue.

@Edhawk Okay, that completely borked my system. I can't boot now, and my backup drive isn't working. I've got to find a way to edit my EFI from Windows. Here's the images of where ever

ything went wrong, if it tells us anything.
