I did what you said (cold boot, 30 seconds power off) and Internet worked for about 2 minutes or so.
Would you please help me, how do I delete the Network Preferences, network.plist file and try again?
I can't find that file network.plist
Can you navigate to /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist
Right click on the NetworkInterfaces.plist and select 'Move to Trash'
From the dock select 'System Preferences' > Network. Click to select your Ethernet option on the top left hand side - it will turn blue. At the very bottom you will see a + & - option. Selecting the '-' (minus) option deletes the selected service.
Now reboot - perhaps try the cold boot option again.
