eSata Port Multiplier?

So I was given a MediaSonic HF2-SU2S23 4 Bay eSata Enclosure for a project I am working on. When I plug it into my eSata ports in the back only 1 hard drive shows up. Does my system support FIS port Multiplying? I can't seem to get it to recognize more than one drive via eSata. I have installed MacMan's sata kext for eSata but no luck. How do I make this thing work over eSata?

I'm looking for similar info about port multipliers. I have heard that getting support for them from motherboard ports is tricky but they work fine with some PCI cards (not sure which ones). Will post more when I figure out more.
