Thanks-
My nephew has one of these connected via firewire (he doesn't have an eSATA port) and it works well with the iMac.

Thanks GB, was there a link here?

I think he got it from OWC - http://eshop.macsales.com/item/OWC/MRF82SD24S/ - that is where he buys most of his hardware. He has a Mini, 2 iMacs, a MBP PPC, a MBP Intel, a MBAir, and a 2008 Mac Pro.

I guess he likes Mac's  .

Then there is his dad's PPC MBP running 10.5 I think and his mom's 2011 iMac running 10.8.3 that he does IT for. He comes to my place to download updates and other files because I have unlimited download gigabyte network and he can get his updates and downloads in minutes instead of hours stretched over several months because of the download cap from satellite where he is - no cable available and no DSL because they are too far from the last ITT booster station. Satellite is only thing available and it really stinks :banghead: .

Thanks all...
