error msgs and commands

I'm trying to install Mac osx on a HP G62 Notebook PC I get to Iboot insert disc f5 click on mac dvd then screen goes black. after a few minutesan error code pops up memory allocation error and Ive seen on other forums you can type some command in and from the sounds of it it works my question is in lay mans terms where is that command typed in it said on other forums something about chameleon is where u type it Im a total noob so I have no clue where this is please help!

After you press F5 and before you choose the dvd.
