error can't install on this computer

hi I've been trying to install mac os 10.6.3 snow leopard on my laptop this past week but every time I try (I've tried different versions) it just says can't install on this computer. so can someone please help me.

It is impossible to diagnose a problem with no info on hardware. Fill in your profile with:
make/model laptop
board PCH/CPU
graphics/GPU

This is minimal information needed.

If you have AMD only, you will need to do some research on the method to enable it properly.
