May be obvious to some, but make sure you wipe your USB drive before using it if you had used it to install Lion in the past. I was getting USB driver kernel panics when the installer launched, so I erased the drive and started again and it worked. Just my second fail of the day....

I downloaded Mountain Lion on my MBP and installed it BEFORE running UniBeast, so I had to download it AGAIN when I was ready to start that process. FML.

maybe that will fix my woes?

I also ran the Mountain Lion installer before I successfully made my UniBeast USB (I didn't check the legacy USB option the first time). Now, it won't complete the UniBeast install (it says install failed). Will that fix me?

EDIT: I did re-download, but my problem was that I had a 4GB USB stick, and it needs an 8GB USB drive. Whoops, I guess that little piece of info slipped by me...
