if you have removed your nvidia card then you should be using: iMac18,1

Changed to 18,1. Same problem as before.

I've done it! Except that the screen is pink. IOReg reads as HDMI if I'm interpreting it correctly, so I'm not sure what else I need to do besides move the config from the USB to the SSD's EFI.

I played around with that somewhat. It didn't seem to make much of a difference, but I'm not completely clear on what that page of Hackintool does. I'll find some explanation somewhere and I'll probably take another crack at it when I clean up the framebuffer patch. Now I can see what needs to be what, it's a mess. A working mess, but still a mess!
