El Captain Skylake Intel HD 520 Graphics (Laptop) VRAM 7MB Issue

Hi everyone,

Just installed succesfully Mac OS El Captain on Intel Skylake 6500U Laptop Platform (Clover UEFI).

It recognizes the Intel HD 520 graphics card natively but it has only 7MB VRAM.

I tried to configure the VRAM manually in the config.plist, but it didn´t take effect.

Is there a fix out there yet? I googled and found some guys with the same problem but I didn´t find a solution.

Update:

I used

<key>ig-platform-id</key>
<string>0x19160000</string>

now VRAM is shown/assigned correctly, but I have many strange artifacts which i don´t have with 7MB VRAM. But there must be a way to fix it? Newer Macs also support the 520?

SKL graphics not ready for prime time. No Apple products use it... significant bugs should be expected.

hmmm but it´s really curious that with 7MB VRAM there are no artifacts....
I think i have to wait until Skylake Macbook Air is released...

Not curious at all.

Drivers not loading in that case.... VESA drivers in use.
