EL Captain, On Installation Can't Detect Internal HDD

I have the same problem
Usually this problem is coming from the fact the UniBeast installation requires ACHI hard drive so if your PC does not support it you need to install IDE or Raid support.
The driver is IOATAFamily.kext 2.5.3 needs to be copied into system/library/extensions folder in your installation USB
In fact I tried that but also failed.

My PC is:

Dell Inspiron 530s
Intel Core2Duo Processor E8400
4GB DDR2 Ram
500GB Sata hard drive on IDE mode in bios (No Achi)

I am now trying to update my BIOS to have ACHI support

I know this is an old thread but I am experiencing the same problem myself.
Current set up is:
GygaByte GA-Z77-DS3H
Corsair Vengeance 8BG x 4
Intel i5
Have disconnected all other externals.
My setup was working fine with Yosemite but now trying to install El Capitan (after trying High Sierra and coming across the server problem) and HDD is nowhere to be found by the installer.
The HDD is visible on bios and the sata controller is setup for ACHI as I believe it should be?
I am getting really tired and no progress made, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I found another SATA port on my motherboard and usded it (it was white instead of blue) and also In my bios I was able to change boot mode from efi to ACHI and it worked, I was able to see the drive, not sure which one did it but i suspect it was the bios change.
