El Capitan questions

First, thank everyone for their help.

I have gotten El Capitan to install and work on my GA-X58A-UD3Rv2 (legacy board). Everything works, USB 2.0 completely works - except USB 3.0, which isn't even recognized in system profiler. I have tried at least 10 "fixes", from this site and several others. None of them worked. I think I have the NEC controller - is this one not able to get working? Do I need to wait for an update to generic USB?

Also, my Hand off, continuity and AirDrop is not working, but I think this and the USB issues are causing this.

Do you have any Bluetooth functionality working?

If not, can you check About This Mac / System Report / USB and see if your Bluetooth chip shows up in that list anywhere?

Yes I have Bluetooth working, can connect to all my devices as in 10.10. Just USB 3, and a non working continuality and hand off.

You'll have to search the forum for your board to see if anybody has gotten the third-party USB3 controller working.
