Hello All,

I was looking to install both El Capitan on both my Desktop & Laptop (specs are in my signature). I was wondering if it has 100% compatibility? I have been running Yosemite on both machines and it was been a breeze so far, just want to make sure before I make the upgrade if there were current present issues that I should be aware of.

Thanks!

As you're already using clover, you SHOULD be fine. Just a case of doing the upgrade via the app store. Backup your system before you do so though. Just so you're aware there are some issues with USB with El capitan as Apple have re-wrote the drivers so just lookup your board on the forums and check out the success stories for other feedback.

Ah okay gotcha, good to know. I currently have a 1TB Hard Drive that is set as my Time Machine drive, would it be essentially safe to go ahead and install El Capitan, and use the Time Machine in the case things don't go right with the upgrade?
