Hi all,

I'm using the XPS 9560 and replace the Killer wifi/BT to the DW1830.

Just bought a eGPU for developing usage.
Asus XG Station Pro
(Tested, it work fine under windows)
There are 2 parts need to solved.

1. Let Thunderbolt 3 Port recognizes the new device.
2. Let Display via the eGPU.

I've tried several ways and Clover sets try to let it work.

Finally I've found a strange set.
When I use the old BrcmPatchRAM2 and the Bluetooth got problem not working, the eGPU is working.
But when I use the updated (release 2.5) BrcmPatchRAM2/BrcmPatchRAM3 the Bluetooth work fine.
But the eGPU not working.

I've Provided my kexts. Please Help me to solve this conflict.

BR,

Hi jasjang,

Have you made any progress?
At the moment I have my Dell XPS 7590 fully working.
But I have a eGPU with a AMD Vega 64, that is recognised but no Displays are working.

I also have a message in thunderbolt: No drivers Loaded

Thank you very much!
I'm still trying, I answered on the other post.

Can you give me a hand?

Panorama, could you load your clover/EFI and kexts? I still have sleep issues, I'm trying to resolve.
cjazz108,
yes I only have three things not working:

1)If sleep it won't turn the screen back on
2)No brightness control on OLED display
3)eGPU not working, it recognises my Vega 64 and even the display but for audio only, no for video (every other thunderbolt device works fine)

If you resolve any of those please let me know!

Okay then we're in the same place. I'm looking for wake from sleep myself.

I'm willing to investigate the kext itself, but I'm not a c++ expert, and don't have time at the moment. Seems like we should be able to derive the commands used by the windows intel630 driver somehow.
