This build is a rehash as, when I originally had it set up, it did not have sleep or audio. Now the the new Mac Pros being released and 10.9 showing some better support I dug this off the shelf and decided to fire it up. I had retired it for a bit and was running my Sabertooth X58 as my main until this set up played nice with OS X, or visa versa
This was the original build thread: http://www.tonymacx86.com/golden-builds/85844-eelheads-x79-build-ga-x79-ud5-i7-3820-gtx-670-a.html
Currently, this build is case-less until I do some swapping and rearranging of my other sytems; I will also be swapping out the GPU as well. I'll keep this build description post current as I do this.
Installation
This is actually easy for this set up.
BIOS setup is straight forward as well, ACHP is was automatically set when I went into BIOS to set it all up. It is also easy to navigate.
As you see above, BIOS is laid out nice and clean. Currently, I am running the F12 BIOS version.
Above picture shows the Extreme Memory Profile, I am running Profile #1 as I have 1600Mhz memory. If you do not switch this it will default at 1333Mhz even if you run higher modules.
Above picture denotes Boot priorities, here you select what HDD/SSD drives you can boot from with a normal start up. If you ever want to pic a drive without going into Bios you can press F12 at startup and it will then give you a list of attached drives that you can choose from, this is temporary and great for an emergency USB load option but if you let your system boot normal it will always go to the drive you have chosen in the above screen as the main drive.
Above picture is the SATA device options, as I stated above my Bios when I went into it was set at AHCI already but it is always a good idea to make sure that this is set. OS X needs the SATA ports to be set to this in order to install and work.
OK now onto the nitty gritty,
Use default UniBeast for Mavericks installation guide, but boot flags are required for 1st boot and 2nd boot from UniBeast created USB. Type the following at boot screen npci=0x2000. You will also need to add this to the chameleon.boot.plist after you run MB, see picture below to see where to insert.
After run MultiBeast as follows;
Instant Menu is just my own preference and I need GraphicsEnabler=Yes for the 610.
You can change your themes however you want to choose.

Other Information
As this is a 4 core CPU I have full sleep and wake. System runs fine now under 10.9.1 and onboard audio works as well.
