It's a simple mod.
Cut out the back with a rotary tool then slide in the motherboard tray and hold in place with small bolts.

Install motherboard and bam.. 100% fitment of everything.

The whole mod tool two hours start to finish.

Total cost $100

Updated Photos.

My Build:

Intel i5 750
Gigabyte GA-P55M-UD4
4GB G.Skill Ripjaw Ram
OCZ 600Watt SLI PSU
WD Black 640GB 32Meg HD
Nividia GTS 250

Total cost: $600 + 40 for the MB tray (I had the G5 Case)

Now that is much more sleek than my CoolerMaster case! And easier to carry!

would any dvd drive fit? Also did you get the power button to work?

thx i shall use this for my g5 mod.. next build.

Hey mate,

Thanks for that post. I'm looking at doing something similar at the moment. Your method looks way easier that lots of the other ones online. I would really love to get a closer look at how your power supply is mounted and connected if it isn't too much of a hassle?

Some people go all out fabricating new panels and stuff, your way looks too easy!

How is the machine going? have you made / planned any other mods?

Thanks

How did you mount the power supply connector?

From the Picture it looks like the PSU is in the bottom front of the case and I have not seen the inside of the G5 case yet ( it is on it way) but did you have to buy any extra parts/wire for the power supply connector on the back?
