How are you getting 10,500 at stock speed? I have the i7 860, MSI P55-GD55, GT240 Video card and got 8080 GB with the 32 bit test?

Is it your better video card?

Is it running at 64 bit?

I'd think for the most part i7 860 @ 2.8Ghz would be about the same?

I hit the overclock button on my motherboard as a test and it gave me 3.36Ghz but i think my results (32bit) were still under 10K, like 9,500?

My videocard is faster yes but I'm not sure whether geekbench tests the videocards or not.

According to the passmark searchable database your card scores 755 and ranks 90th. My HD 4870 scores 1121 and ranks 37th.

Yes I'm testing with geekbench 64 bit and using 10.6.3 which several people are reporting faster geekbench scores.

Other than that I'm not doing anything special that I know of.
