DVD to Hdd replace

Hi!

I bought hdd caddy for my laptop and put the new 1Tb hard drive (Hitachi) instead Dvd.

After switching on the laptop system does not see the new hard drive, but i hear how it works.

What is the problem? Help please

Did you partition it in Disk Utility?

The first time i connected the Hdd to the desktop, and format it into Exfat. After this i wrote him some data and connect it to the laptop.
But the laptop does not see it anywhere,any Disk Utility or from a Boot Usb. Anywhere.
At the same time i hear it spinning and sleep working ok.
Visually all good only it is not available in system *(

Need check option "Notebook Upgrade Bay" in BIOS. Is the name of DVD in Hp Bios.Very unusual.

Also can be related to "Fast boot" option in BIOS (which should be disabled).
