Hello,

My computer seems to works perfectly except for DVD Player which
crashes each time I start it. It craches when I insert a DVD disc or
when I launch it separately.
But the DVD works with VLC and the Blu-Ray works too with BRPlayer.

My configuration is in my signature.

Thank you for your precious help

under system profile what is your graphic display identified as?
-Radeon 5700 or Radeon 5770?
-Do you have geekbench? if you do, does it crash when you run it?
-open terminal and type ioreg | grep ATY and post your frame buffer result.

Can try this:

GraphicsEnabler=on

or

GraphicsEnabler=off

Check if any of the above works for you.

Hello,

According my system, the graphic card is ATI Radeon HD 5000 1024 RAM
But the card is a Sapphire HD5770 GDDR5

Geekbench is working fully and gimme a 9451 score in 64 bits mode and
8615 in 32 bits mode.

The command gimme :

| | | | +-o ATY,ATY,RadeonFramebuffer@0 <class AtiFbStub, id 0x10000028d, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (1244 ms), retain 7>
| | | | | +-o ATY_ATY,RadeonFramebuffer <class ATIFramebuffer, id 0x100000294, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (168 ms), retain 17>
| | | | +-o ATY,ATY,RadeonFramebuffer@1 <class AtiFbStub, id 0x10000028e, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (3 ms), retain 7>
| | | | | +-o ATY_ATY,RadeonFramebuffer <class ATIFramebuffer, id 0x1000002aa, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (2 ms), retain 14>
| | | | +-o ATY,ATY,RadeonFramebuffer@2 <class AtiFbStub, id 0x10000028f, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (3 ms), retain 7>
| | | | | +-o ATY_ATY,RadeonFramebuffer <class ATIFramebuffer, id 0x1000002b0, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (2 ms), retain 14>

Any information to fix my problem now ? Thank you guys

Enable your graphic by adding string to your file com.apple.boot.plist or org.chameleon.boot.plist in /Extra folder manually
<key>GraphicsEnabler</key>
<string>yes</string>

This option can also be done in selecting Enable Graphic in Multibeast.

I'll have a look this evening after the sport. 'cause I can access
to my machine but I need to press the enter key on boot menu.
I'll need also some help to fix this point... But it will be another
post.

I'll keep you in touch. But thank for this advice.

Oh my god ! The hackintosh doesn't boot anymore !

I changed the line according your advice (GraphicEnabler / Yes) in Extra/com.apple.Boot.plist

After restarting the PC, it staid on a white screen + cursor

I rebooted with several options like -v -x or GraphicsEnabler=No

But now, it stays on a apple boot screen + road sign symbol

I removes manually the lines in the .plist file with my macbook pro
but nothing changes......

Please help !

Thank you,

V.

Did you make your time machine work before you mess your OS up?

Boot your computer by bootable CD or USB

Use LionInstaller to restore your OS.

Next time you can install your OS like me

viewtopic.php?f=7&t=27492

I don't want to destroy the GUID EFI because it makes Paragon Rescue kit for Mac fail.
I want the Mac OS partition clean, so.....
disk0s2 is bootloader, put S/L/E to E/E
disk0s3 is Mac OS

Paragon Rescue Kit for Mac...........awesome?
