DUAL Monitor Set-Up HD3000 with onboard DVI and HDMI only

Hello all,

I have tried to set up dual monitors on my hackintosh.

Main monitor has been connected to the onboard DVI connector.
Second monitor has been connected to the onboard HDMI connector.

Now I have video on both displays, but 'cloned' that means the same video signal on both displays.

Will this work anyhow, with the set-up below ????

GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3
Mountain Lion 10.8.2
MultiBeast 5.1.3 --> Mac mini 5,1.

Thanks in advanced,

Johan

I have the slightly different question. I've got a Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3 board and 3770K, the HD4000 works just fine (with this workaround http://www.tonymacx86.com/150-enabl...therboards-hd-4000-6-series-motherboards.html). I use my Hack for music recording, now it's completely silent. But I want the second monitor, and don't want to add some noisy and hot videocard only to connect the second display. So the question is: will I be able to set up the multiple display desktop if I say change my motherboard to some Gigabyte Z77? And if not, how can I add the second display while keeping my workstation silent? Thank you.
