Dual GPUs with High Sierra

I have a working/fresh install of High Sierra with GA Z97X-UD7-TH, quad i7-4790. My main GPU is geforce gtx 750 TI. Everything working fine there.

I wanted to add a 2nd GPU for a third monitor and have a spare Gigabyte gt 710. When I add the gt 710 to the build I get the prohibited sign.

Any recommendations on what to do to get the two GPU's to work together?

everything is working for me but I got a lot of screen tearing when using OpenGL when I use dual gtx1080ti. And real time viewport is suffering a lot. Using the latest driver and cuda driver from nvidia save a lot of trouble.
