MSI CX61 2PC-499US Notebook Intel Core i5 4200M (2.5GHz) 8GB Memory 750GB HDD NVIDIA GeForce GT 820M 15.6" Windows 8.1 Compatibility?
I would like to install snow leopard, but I would like to know what is the max version I can install. Thanks

Snow Leopard does not support Haswell. Haswell support arrived in 10.8.5. I'd recommend Mavericks.
 
So, it would support any version of Mavericks? cool. Also, is I have a laptop with Intel HD graphics 4600, HP, the Intel graphics card is not supported, right? Thanks

Intel HD4600 is supported.
 
OK, last question. Which one would be better:

Must be a typo. The i7-4700MQ always has HD4600. See: http://ark.intel.com/products/75117

You will not be able to use the nvidia graphics unless it is not paired with Intel (optimus). Something to check.
 
But the HP envy 15-J053CL should be compatible[h=1][/h]
 
Looks like it's causes more problems that I though, which is pretty disappointing as now I have no idea what laptop to pick to make it dual booting.

Actually, as far as Haswell laptops go, it has pretty good compatibility with OS X. From what I remember, everything working but the card reader, and the audio volume is a little low (I think the secondary speakers are not working).

If this is your first time, you may be shocked at some of the process. You would have much to learn. Hacking a laptop is not easy, but most everything about the Haswell Envy is figured out.
