The problem: Windows disk now boots before Mac disk.
What changed: Formatted Windows disk and reinstalled Win 7.
Attempts to correct: Checked BIOS disk boot order.
Last week I reformatted my Windows disk and reinstalled Windows 7 (forgotten password).
After reinstalling I can only start up directly to Windows. Edited: no dual boot choice screen (chimera?). Unplugging windows disk, it starts up from my Mac disk and I get normal boot screens.
Edited: I checked the BIOS. Boot order: CD/DVD boot UEFI Mac, Mac, Windows UEFI, Windows Boot Manager.
Any ideas how to fix this?
Edit:
I switched the boot disk order again, made CD/DVD 1st in order, removed the non-UEFI windows boot option, and put windows boot manager last. Seems to have fixed my problem.
