Hey there,

I've been lurking for a few months, since the new MP was unveiled...

I'm looking to build a Hackintosh but the kicker is I've got two Apple 27" displays (both the older LED ones, not TB) and I'd like to use them if possible. I searched and I can find some references to people getting it working but nothing really concrete.

Any help is very much appreciated.

Thanks!

Jordan

'Not TB', does that mean they're both Dual-Link DVI?

If that's the case, you could try with two GT 640 cards (or better), each feeding one screen.
Or if you can get a motherboard with dual-link DVI, you could try getting one screen on a HD4000 and another on a GT640.

If the displays have DisplayPort, then just get two cards with DisplayPort, feed each display to a card.
Or a single card and a motherboard with Thunderbolt.

Two graphics cards will give you less of a headache than trying to setup Integrated Graphics + PCI-Express Graphics, but will also be more expensive, make more noise, and consume more power.

Thanks for your reply! They are both Mini DisplayPort They have 3 plugs. Mini DP, Power, USB
