after months of failed attempts, i finally came across this thread and it is the only post that actually had step by step instructions that actually work. I feel pretty comfortable messing around with parts and software and had tried every conceivable configuration with out and success. Until this, post. the directions were straight forward but different to the tonymac suggested routine. I tried that one over and over thinking i was doing something incorrectly, but it was the sequence. running the updatehelper first seemed to do the trick. thanks so much for the help.
