DSDT Help - Asrock Z68 Extreme 4 Gen 3

Hi

I'm wondering if someone could help me out creating a DSDT file for my build.

I have it pretty much all up and running and it seems to be functioning pretty well, just the usual power management issue and bugs etc.

I had a go at creating one myself but ran in to several error when compiling that I couldn't sort out.

Setup is:

Asrock Z68 Extreme 4 Gen 3 running patched bios 2.30
i7 2600K
Using onboard HD3000 graphics
Mountain Lion 10.8.4

I've attached the extracted DSDT file.

First patch the BIOS with modded BIOS rom file.

Set the BIOS as per below.

Advance > Advanced\North Bridge Configuration
Primary Graphics Adapter > IGPU*
Share Memory > 64MB*
Render Standby > Disabled*

Advanced\South Bridge configuration
Deep Sleep > Enabled in S5*

Advanced Storage Configuration
SATA Mode > AHCI*
Hard disk SMART > Enabled*

ADvanced\Super IO config > Serial Port - Disable

Advanced ACPI config
Suspend to RAM > Disabled*
ACPI HPET Table > Enabled*
RTC Alarm power on > by OS*
reset of the option here is disabled.

Not so imp settings but runs the system quite. Once you boot in fans are controlled by OSX.
HW Monitor
CPU FAN > Level 2
Chassis fan settings > Level 4

1, Complete a Fresh mountain Lion installation.

2, Download both DSDT and Broadcom 57781 unzip and keep on the desktop.

3, Download the tool Kext beast and run it. This will install the "Broadcom 57781.kext" > http://www.tonymacx86.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=32

4, Download Multibeast for Mountain Lion and run it with the below settings and reboot > http://www.tonymacx86.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=155



Note: TRIM Enabler 10.8.1 under disk option should be checked only if you have SSD installed else uncheck this option.

Ethernet kext credits > Mieze

I would just like to saying a big thank you for your help

I have installed the DSDT etc and so far all seems to be working. I shall have a better play with it in the morning and see how it is performing in more detail.

Hi,

same problem here. Everything works well but sleep not working!

Asrock Z68 Extreme 4 Gen 3 running patched bios 2.20
i7 2600K
Using nvidia GTX 560ti
External usb audio
Mavericks OS X 10.9.5

I think i only need the DSDT.

@MiniITX:
Should i update the bios to 2.3?
Can I use your attached DSDT?
