I downloaded patches for GA-EP45-UD3P, ALC 889a, and 2 for my processor (Q6600, cpu0-3 & Q6600, cpu1-4). I'm not sure whether to use the ones for my processor or not, so I used DSDT Editor to extract my DSDT, then I opened the motherboard patch and audio patch and applied them. I've ignored the CPU patches unless someone here tells me I actually need them. When I compile them, I had 3 errors and 4 warnings.

258 Error Method local variable is not initialized (Local0)
262 Error Method local variable is not initialized (Local0)
435 Error Length is larger than Min/Max window
3024 Warning ResourceTag larger than Field (Tag: 16 bits, Field: 8 bits)
3026 Warning ResourceTag larger than Field (Tag: 16 bits, Field: 8 bits)
3378 Warning Statement is unreachable
3494 Warning Statement is unreachable

When I hit Fix Errors, it fixes the 3 errors, but I don't know what I need to do about the warnings.

I had Snow Leopard running on the machine 3 years ago, and that ran flawlessly. But I broke it out of storage last week and am trying to install Mountain Lion, and the DSDT thing is new to me. I need iCloud, so Snow Leopard isn't an option anymore.

Mountain Lion is working at the moment from a fresh install, although it still needs my USB flash drive to boot, as I have not ran MultiBeast yet. I have tried different ASL's for my motherboard from searching over and over. but every time I run MultiBeast to apply them, it hoses my system. At that point, it will not go past the apple logo upon startup. So I decided to try to make my own.

So far, on the fresh install, in my System Report, the graphics card, memory and hard drives all are showing up perfect. Even Sleep seems to be functioning, although it does take a bit to wake back up... about 2-3 times the wake up time on my MBP. The Q6600, however, is showing up as a 2.13 GHz Xeon instead of a 2.4 GHz Core 2 Quad. It does show 4 cores, though.

I've included my uncompiled DSL file, and a few screen shots of applicable System Report pages. I've tried to include every thing that might be relevant. Sorry if it is too much.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Scott
