Trying to roll my own and am getting the following errors when applying the 'Asus-Generic-DSDT-Patch-With-ALC899.txt' patch.

2221 Warning ResourceTag larger than Field (Tag: 64 bits, Field: 32 bits)
2245 Warning ResourceTag larger than Field (Tag: 64 bits, Field: 32 bits)
5838 Error Name already exists in scope (BUS0)
5841 Error Name already exists in scope (_ADR)
5865 Error Object does not exist (\_SB.PWRB)

I'm using a patched 3203 BIOS if that makes any difference.
I've attached the vanilla DSDT file in case it helps.

Any help or guidance would be most appreciated.

Thanks.

The patch you used doesn't match your DSDT. In fact most of the work has already been done. But there is something strange with the vanilla DSDT, besides device SBUS it has an additional device SMB which seems to be an alias of SBUS. I removed device SMB and moved it's methods to device SBUS. I'm not sure if it works, at least it compiles flawlessly.

Thanks for your help :D

Are you saying that I don't need to apply the patch/any patch to get it working?

I'll try it tomorrow and let you know how it goes.
