I did a "iBoot Supported" install on a Biostar G31-M7 board with an Intel core 2 processor, 4 Gig of RAM, Nvidia 9800 Gt Graphics card and it all went great. The only problem is that it will not boot without the iBoot CD. I tried making my OSX partition as active using "fdisk" in terminal window but that did not work. I then deided to try to use the Internal EFI partition following the instructions in:

http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2010/01/ ... eleon.html

and got to the point where one has to copy the DSDT file from the SL partition into the EFI partition. At that point I could not find any DSDT file even after making all file visible. I thought that "iBoot Supported" install with Multibeast would install some DSDT?
If anybody can help me out to understand all this?

Thanks!

As far as I know, MultiBeast doesn't automatically create a dsdt file for you. You have to have one that you have previously created yourself using a dsdt editor. After you've created the dsdt, it needs to be placed on the desktop so that MultiBeast can find it and install it. There are links to various dsdt editors on both this forum and on insanelymac.com. Doing a search for one should give you some valid results.
