Drive Layout for Dual Boot & Raid Questions

Hi there, I was hoping to get some advice.

I am attempting my first Hackintosh build for a friend and I was hoping to dual boot Mavericks with Win7.

My plan is to have 2 separate ssd's, one for each OS.

I also was hoping to have a raid 1 array of 2 3tb harddrives.


I was wondering is it possible to have both OS's access the Raid1 array?

Also any advice in setting up a dual boot system would be much appreciated!

Only if you use a hardware RAID card. OS X will not recognize a Windows RAID and Windows does not consider an OS X disk utility set up software RAID as valid.
