Downgrading from ML10.8.4 to Lion 10.7

I have a successful build similar to Slugnets video editor (great system btw) but I am having misgivings about ML 10.8.4.

Much of the software and peripherals I use are not able to be installed and I would like to downgrade to OSX 10.7.

I have a Lion USB but the current version of Unibeast (2.0.1) doesn't have an option to be able to install from the Lion USB. And since I can no longer purchase or DL it from the app store, what are my options to be able to install Lion?

In searching the forums, it appears that I could possibly make a bootable USB using older versions of Unibeast (1.7 maybe), but where are they available to DL? Any help or advice with this would be greatly appreciated as I don't feel like spending hundreds of $$$ acquiring new softwarez.

Have you tried just running the UniBeast app with your retail Lion USB and your blank 8Gb USB?

According to the release notes, UniBeast is supposed to autodetect the Lion install app.

Yes. And you are correct as long as the installation in in the APPS folder. So this doesn't work with a Lion USB. I see on this installation guide http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2011/10/unibeast-install-mac-os-x-lion-using.html there is an option within Unibeast to select "OS X Lion USB Thumb Drive" but the current version does not show that option for me.
