Hey all, does the Z68x (more specifically -UD4 and related) motherboard support hard drives larger than 4TB+ via SATA?
This is an old mobo, circa 2011? and on it's official manual, it says it supports 3TB+ HDD. But back then, there were no 4TB, 6TB drives. So the manual doesn't specifically say 4TB+ is supported.
I was wondering if anyone here have a Z68x mobo and using a 4TB drive with their setup.
FWIW, I do have an external 5TB USB drive connected to this machine, but not sure if a same size hard drive will work connected directly via SATA.
Thanks!
