Hi there,

just a general question... As I am working more and more with USB 3.0 I noticed that my CustoMac OSX Lion Build here has problems with USB3.0 (on transferring larger folders like > 100 GB, or with a Lexar USB 3.0 CF/SD Card Reader - stops halfway trough transferring images)

I am wondering, would upgrading to OSX 10.8 with newest multibeast fix these problems?

Has anyone else already upgraded with a Z68X-UD3H-B3?

Thanks for comments
Chris

In a word, no.

My experience so far is that ML broke my USB 3.0 ports. I think that the only way that USB 3 works by default is if you have an Ivy Bridge. I'm sure someone will get the legacy USB driver working soon.

thanks,

that was my fear. Yes, probably upgrading the MoBo to an IvyBridge by the time would work best. I was just wondering since OSX 10.8 update is also applied on MY11 Sandy Bridge machines now, and they don't have 3.0.
