Does this recommended custom build actually work

Just for clarity because every forum I look at with this builds has unresolved errors.

Does it actually work???? If so does anyone have a guide with a little more info than the tonymac one currently provided as this is not functioning.

CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 6850
Case: Corsair Carbide Series 400R
RAM: 16GB Corsair 1600Mhz DDR3
Power Supply: Corsair 650watt

Thus far I reach the apple screen and spinning wheel accompanies by what I can only refer to as a grey and white no entry sign.

Yes, there are posts on every build, I believe most people manage to get it working without posting. If it is a recommended build, it has been successfully installed a number of times.

Please tell us what you have done. Have you for instance tried adding GraphicsEnabler=NO or -X at the Chameleon screen? Tried any other boot flags?
