Please add your motherboard, CPU and graphics card to your Personal Details as stipulated by the rules of this forum.

As to your question, yes, I think so. Yosemite or later, including Sierra, should work.

Yes ! it works like a charm! I just follow the instruction given for fresh installing Sierra and everything works fine. Looking forward to update to high sierra

Congratulations on a working system.

If I were you I would stay with Sierra and not move to High Sierra until much later when more of its bugs are fixed.
