Does Kaby Lake still need to be spoofed on latest High Sierra?

As per title... Last time I did a setup it was on Sierra, and that needed to be spoofed to Skylake. Do we still need to do this or has Apple included Kaby Lake support in High Sierra?

FakeCPUID does not need to be used.

ig-platform-id still needs to be used if you have iGPU enabled.

Note that if you're using a KabyLake ig-platform-id, ... that is not "spoofing"... that is just configuring graphics correctly.

Spoofing KabyLake graphics as Skylake is still possible, although probably not needed and probably not desirable.
Most with KabyLake hardware will inject KabyLake ig-platform-id (and obviously no device-id spoof).
