Does Intel's New X79 Support Lion? [SOCKET 2011]

Hey everyone,

I'm trying to get lion installed on my new system:

ASUS P9X79 Deluxe
i7 3930k
GeForce 580
32Gb ram

After booting fron Unibeast USB Drive and hitting Install, apple logo flashes on a white screen and system reboots immediately. Tried boot flags and disabling onboard features. The SSD is in ACHI mode.

Any suggestions? Would really appreciate your help!

Sorry if this has been answered before, but after searching all evening for an answer on the forums and trying all possible solutions I could find I have no definat ssolution for this.

P.S. Installing with 32Gb of RAM in all 8 available slots. Has anyone had success in installing with more than 1 Ram slot filled? Otherwise this could be the issue, but it's a hastle removing the NH-D14 to remove the ram from the slots.

UPDATE!!

All good now! Just installed Lion. On to getting all the other stuff to work!

Hi there, I've quite your same setup listed above (as you can see from the side-spec) and i'm tryin to make a fresh Lion install over my machine.

I make a bootable usb with unibeast 1.4 and plug both the usb sticks.
I select the only apple icon and this is what i get:

Same error pops up with 10.7.3 and 10.7.4 :/

Can someone help me?
