Most ASUS laptops can use "ASUS N55SL/VivoBook" patch (it is the one to try first).
And there is another ASUS patch if that one doesn't work.

I’m still confused idk how to do that it says to extract the ACPI patch but do I need to do that if I have a patch I don’t know where to start

Use MaciASL and patch the DSDT using the .txt file. I suggest you read the ACPI patching guide first. It is important.

The Guide makes no sense to me like can I just download the patches and DSDT or do I have to make it?
