Do I need to update my BIOS?

I am about to build with a gigabyte z87n-wifi mobo and i7 4790K. Planning on using Mavericks...will I need to update my BIOS? If so when in the order of the build process should this be done? Before OS installs or when?? First build so any insight is helpful! Thanks!

Yes, at least F5.

Sooner the better. And don't use the gigabyte @Bios app to do it.

The version that was current at the time of manufacture :

Old stock = Older BIOS.
New stock = Newer BIOS.
