Not working on 10.7.1. Is it require to update 10.7.2 or 10.7.3?

Please help me for installing DWA 525 on my Mac.

Dlink DWA-525 on 10.6.7

Here's how I managed to get the DWA-525 working on my Snow Leopard:

1. Download PCI/mPCI/CB(RT2860/RT2790/RT309x) (V1.2.2.0) from Ralinktech.

2. Mount installer and proceed to install contents from "CardbusPCIWireless-10.5" folder.

3. Hopefully, installation should proceed without any flaw. Restart.

4. Upon reboot, open System Preferences and a new network interface should be detected.

5. To connect to wireless network, run the Ralink WirelessUtility in your Applications folder.

Good luck!

Followed same step provided by ca2n but still not working on 10.6.7 and 10.7.2. I have both OS installed on my system so I tried to install on both but not working.

Any suggestion?

There seems to be a Revision 2 of this card from D-Link with a different device ID: 5360. It seems to be using the Ralink chip RT5360.

I am on lion 10.7.4 and I have tried everything in this thread, but I cannot get this card to work. I have added the device ID to IO80211Family.kext/Contents/Plugins/AirPortAtheros21.kext/Contents/Info.plist . I have also added the device ID to the RT2860 kext installed by the Ralink installer. No luck so far.

Is there any hope for this card?

I am trying to install this for Mavericks, no luck yet. I installed PCI/mPCI/CB(RT2860/RT2790/RT309x) from ralinktech which crashes with an error every other time i try to start. The times it starts, i get NO DEVICE! Could someby HELP please..
