Hello All,

Has anybody had any experience with the application DiskWarrior on their build ?

As I read through the various posts I've seen no mention ... at another support site on supporting another OS build I was reminded to make certain that I've RTFM first. I think I've done that; apologies if I missed something.

Just getting ready to do my 1st build AND DiskWarrior is a utility that I use regularly on ALL my other Macs. DW is considered by many to be a "must have" utility application with OSX.

One of the issues with DW is that it needs to do it's magic on something other than the start up disk.

I use it. No problem running in Lion hack.

It will delete Chameleon/Chimera if you use it to repair a boot drive. But you can just reinstall it from multibeast.

And to use the DiskWarrior 4.4 boot DVD, you can use the iBoot disk, and instead of swapping the 10.6.x DVD, you put in the DiskWarrior DVD.

I didn't want the HDD moving around method, so I wanted to boot the DiskWarrior DVD to fix the startup disk
